Todd Taylor
Todd is the lead shareholder in Fredrikson & Byron’s Renewable Energy practice area focusing on biofuels and biomass. He focuses much of his time on project and technology development related to the production of biofuels, bioenergy, and bioproducts from multiple feedstocks and processes. Todd leverages his legal and industry expertise to advise biofuels and biomass providers, investors, developers and researchers in connection with the development, financing, and acquisition of biofuels and biomass projects. Todd has worked with rural farmers, university researchers, and large regional and national companies in developing biofuels and biomass projects. Todd is also active with other clean technologies such as solar, wind, and bio materials.
 

Todd works closely with his clients on a variety of legal and business needs, including public and private financing options, entity formation and seed capital, critical contract negotiations, mergers and acquisitions, governance matters, and compliance with corporate and securities laws. 
 
Todd earned a bachelor’s degree from St. Thomas University and a J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law. 
 

Randy Anderson
Randy is a Board member of the energy policy non-profit, Fresh Energy. Most recently, Randy worked for UnitedHealthcare, where he held various management positions including National Director for Government Provider Relations - where he managed United’s national contract with the Veterans Administration; Chief of Staff to the UHC CEO and Director of Sales and Marketing Strategy for United’s middle market national sales team. Prior to that, Randy served 12 years in the US Navy as a Naval Flight Officer. During that time he completed tours of duty in aviation squadrons, aircraft carriers, officer recruiting and an exchange program with a South American navy.
 
Randy has a BA in Political Science from Fordham University in NYC and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
